My Summer in a Roll Part 1 - Seoul Tripping
Last summer (second week of May to be exact), my high school friends, their college friends, my sister and I—all 9 of us had a trip to South Korea! I know it sounded like we have a buttload of savings or like we are spoiled brats who ask money from our parents whenever we want to (lol) but this was actually a budget trip (although it left me broke). Anyway, Korea was such a real beauty; everywhere you look is scenic! I love how unexpectedly kind and friendly the people were to us. We even made friends with some ahjummas and oppas, even the random kids. I regret not being able to capture the highlights of our trip on film (i.e. ziplining in Nami Island, roaming the streets of Seoul at 4am with a cold temperature of 12 degrees, almost left by the plane, got lost and walked for an hour, chicken and beer by the Han River, etc.) probably because I was having too much fun—or too much patbingsu—I got too preoccupied to take pictures. One thing is for sure though, we’re definitely coming back soon!
